Fall is here. Yay! This is my favorite season, followed by Spring, Winter, and then Summer, which is just too warm. Anyway, the Fall brings a few holidays (with time off and lots of food!) but also the beginning of flu season, which is less fun 🤧

Here’s October:

• COVID and flu shots — I decided to get both shots again this year, and, as per usual, it knocked me out. Maybe it’s because I got them (again) on the same day? Next year, I’ll get them one at a time and with a week in between 🤒
• Durham, NC — we’re spending more time downtown Durham, and we’re finding all kinds of exciting stuff. There are countless coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries, and so much more 😉
• Durham Main Library — my new favorite place for reading and writing or to ponder things and just be. And, by the way, the building itself is very cool.
• Asheboro Zoo — made a father-and-daughter excursion to the NC Zoo in Asheboro, NC. We always went there when my daughter was little, and it was so much fun to go again now that she’s an adult. And yes, we’ll definitely do this more often.

Short version: October — Fall is here with cooler temperatures, holidays (yay!), and the start of flu season (not yay). Lots of time at coffee shops, galleries, and the library 🙂
