Summer is here, and the school year is over. It’s the end of an era: no more school lunches or driving the teenager in the house to and from school.

Oh June:

• Trip to Los Angeles — this is the first trip in years, and we’re celebrating our other daughter getting her Ph.D.!
• Orientation at college — younger daughter (f.k.a. “teenager in the house”) went to the orientation at her college. Big changes ahead!
• Trip to Atlanta — this is the first trip for work in over 2 years. It felt strange to travel to the office again. On the one hand, nothing has changed. On the other hand, everything has changed.
• Still no deck, but an awesome front patio — the front patio is an absolutely perfect spot for the morning coffee 😊

Short version: June — Summer is here, and the school year is over. Traveling for pleasure and business again to Los Angeles and Atlanta. Still no deck due to “supply chain issues blah blah blah” 😐
