March 2020
We went into March with a whole bunch of ideas of what we’d think we’d do.
But … oh well … here goes March:
- Last trip for work — I traveled to Minneapolis and Atlanta. It was just another work trip to our various offices. Meetings, conference calls, more meetings. Back to the hotel. Up early to get to the airport. Meetings at the office. Another hotel. Another day at the office. More meetings. Back to the airport. Going home. My journal entry says that I need to find a way to travel less … hm! Little did I know when I wrote that!
- COVID-19 — Yup. Working from home for the foreseeable future. All upcoming travel plans canceled for at least a month or so. First few weeks of working from home — Not ‘gonna lie, it’s kinda nice not having to travel for a while. Dog is getting walked a lot! Uncertainty — not sure where all this is going. Everything is coming to an abrupt halt.
- Canceled vacation trip to Vancouver — So it turns out that visiting the Pacific Northwest in the middle of a pandemic may not be so smart. So we canceled our trip. I really wanted to visit that city, and it’s still on my must-visit list … hm! 🤔
So, that was March — blah blah blah … COVID!
