Ex-Expat Day 168

Another early Monday morning in January. No snow yet this morning, but there’s a winter storm warning for afternoon and evening. I’m stopping in for some coffee before heading over to the office. It’s my ease-into-Monday routine.

The day-job part is keeping me on my toes. There’s lots of busywork, as with any large project, and also quite a few new (at least to me) cool tools to learn. My focus is now on automated testing, which may not sound exciting. But let’s just say there are layers of complexity … lots of layers and lots of complexity and lots of machine-to-machine automation … yup, my inner nerd is smiling.

And yes, I’m definitely settling in, and I’m finding my groove 😊
